Emily
Harmchair in metal mirrored, graduating painting and brass details.
45x45x70 cm
Part of the Riflessi series by Pepita Design, Emily is a sculptural seat that explores the dynamic relationship between object, user, and space. Designed as more than just furniture, Emily becomes an active element of the living environment, a reflective presence that interacts with its surroundings.
The mirrored metal structure amplifies light and color, reflecting and transforming the environment around it. The cushions were created in collaboration with Colori Vivi, a Turin-based creative and sartorial workshop that operates within the social sphere. Through their work, they support and empower migrant women by offering training opportunities and paths toward employment. The soft, textured cushions not only provide comfort and visual contrast, but also carry with them a story of inclusion, craftsmanship, and social value.
Each movement, each reflection, turns the seat into a changing entity, never the same twice, always responsive to its context.
